Very unhappy with this shelter. The staff is very rude and unorganized. Me and my family tried to adopt from a shelter rather than go to a breeder. Because they were so difficult to work with we adopted a wonderful addition to our family from a different shelter. I love our dog now and so glad we have her. But very disappointed in our experience @ J.B Ogle.
Adopted a dog from here. He had been there for 3 months and his ribs were showing. Doesn't seem like they have enough food for the animals. My dog gained 5 pounds in a week after we got him. He weighed 70 pounds when we got him he now weighs 86 pounds his breed is 80 to 100 he is the happiest pupp I have ever seen.
WONDERFUL PLACE TO ADOPT...I ENCOURAGE YOU TO STOP BY AND SEE FOR YOURSELF...HELPFUL AND PATIENT STAFF...I KNOW I ASKED TO SEE 6 DIFFERENT CATS AND A HANDFUL OF DOGS BEFORE I CHOSE...AND THE ANIMALS LIVE FOREVER...LOL..7 YEARS AGO I ADOPTED A GERIATRIC CAT AND HES STILL GOING...BLESS HIS HEART...LOVE HIM AND LOVE THIS PLACE...PLEASE ADOPT DONT SHOP!!!
Adopted my first dog from this shelter in 2000 and have adopted two cats in the past three years. The adoption process is easy and affordable. Staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and their love for these animals really shows.
Worst shelter I have ever been to. Went to visit a dog on Saturday and was told she was adoptable. Came back the next business day and they waste our time for 2 hours telling us we can adopt it and just have to get our house checked out by animal control. Called animal control and they said they had nothing to do with it so finally after we got back into contact with the shelter they told us she was going to a rescue. Even though she had a family waiting to adopt her. Thanks for the "miscommunication" and the wasted time!!!! Extremely rude staff and poorly ran.
My three year old daughter and I like to visit to socialize with the animals and even though we're not adopting staff are always great to us.
