For about two or three months our water heater and heating unit were consistently broken. When one was fixed, the other would break. One night we came home to an apartment that was filled with smoke and had a burning smell to it. The heating unit was just about to catch fire. Instead of fixing it, they kept replacing it with old units. It took forever for them to just give us a new one.
We have hamsters living in our walls. Since we have moved in, we have found 4 and our neighbor has found 2. We can hear them scratching around all the time.
We've complained to both the management group and the leasing office TONS. Nothing has EVER been taken care of. They say they'll take care of it, then nothing gets done. I wouldn't reccomend these apartments to anyone. Just not worth the price. I can't wait to move.
I can't wait until my lease is up. We moved here last fall. First of all, they didn't even paint the walls of the unit before we moved in, there were marks all over the walls. The light bulb in the dining area was burnt out, so we had to move in the dark.
The landscaping looks like crap and there is a hideous storage unit by the playground that has been there forever.
Nice neighbors, food park for kids to play. I had no issues. But i payed rent on time too, unlike most. But it was easy because the office woman alli wheathers is absolutely gorgeous.
I also disagree with the ratings below.... Ive been here a year have had no problems with my apt really just minor things management had ZERO problems fixing. Its a little pricey but all in all a nice unit & complex to live in. You get what you pay for! I had a good start to my lease & will be resigning for another year & looking forward to this SUMMER :)
Our across the hall neighbors are terrifying. They smoke both weed and cigarettes like chimneys, and it's so bad that I can smell it in my living room. They have a board blocking their main window so that no one can see in, which we were told was a fire hazard, but still hasn't been dealt with. We overheard them beating some guy up for money. One time their electric was shut off, so they just ran an extension cord through the hallway and stole electricity from the complex. We ate dinner to the sounds of the world's loudest drug deal one evening. Their drunk guests go outside and scream and fight at night. One night a girl was out there screaming so loud that I was sure someone had been stabbed and called the police.
Our upstairs neighbors seemed alright, until we realized that he has kids stay with him certain nights of the week and he lets them run wild and scream their heads off from 5 am until 11 pm, in addition to his large footed girlfriend who stomps around.
We have lived here for a couple years now and I have to disagree with some of the reviews below. The office staff has always been very friendly and maintenance is very responsive. We also live in a renovated unit so we have new cabinets and appliances that I love. We do plan on renewing our lease when it's up!
This is one of the cheapest places around and you get what you pay for. Dirty, ancient appliances, cracked and slopping walls, management will do anything to avoid making a proper repair. There are large storage containers that sit in the parking lot. Sleazy and beech grove are interchangeable. I will be moving out when my lease it up.
