So many trips to various location's throughout our travels on not only our own truck and Thermo King APU, but on other friend's trucks and APU Unit's as well; each have been remedied, and very reasonably priced for the value of the repairs, and proper programming. They even recently cosmetically repaired our APU after a bad mishap with our trailers corner in a steep location, in a very timely manner.
I am very pleased with TKOI! I've been chasing the same problem, supposedly repaired by other shops for 3 years. Wayne, the assigned mechanic, diagnosed and repaired the long time problem and the current problem. I'm happy, repair was affordable too! You may have to wait for service, but Jason is upfront with you when you get there. They open at 7am.
Even though they're not open late, or 24 hours, we still must give them a 5 Star Rating for the Quality of Work, and their Professionally Courteous Attitude.
If you need Any Work, as with other Thermo King Location's, it's ALWAYS BEST to contact them either ahead of time; knowing that you are going to be arriving, or first thing in the morning. They are First Come, First Serve. They are just as short on qualified employees as anywhere else, and keep a constant flow of inbound/outbound work.
They refuse to schedule an appointment for yourTripac APU service work. They want you to leave it or just wait indefinitely and they will get to it when they aren't too busy with their primary reefer jobs.
Also, Thermo King parts are obscenely priced! There is no reason for this price gouging. My next APU will definitely not be a ThermoKing! And I bet these people could care less.
They do not want to take care of the customers and warranty their parts
