When I first began frequenting this store, prices were on the higher side but fair. Now as time has gone by, they have risen even more and now the "limited" bourbon they have just sits on the shelf. Higher prices could be justified if the store had really great customer service, but the main clerk who works most days is rude, and either incredibly misinformed or a compulsive liar. Seems as though from other reviews that this has been a consistent issue for a while too which is even more unfortunate.
The store is easy to see from the road and is extremely clean and shelves filled very well. I am from out of town and felt like this was my hometown store. Any time I'm in this area I'll be stopping here!
Very rude fat ass man. My chip on my debit card is broken, so I asked the man could I swipe my card instead. He told me no, which was ok. So as I'm reaching in my wallet for another form of payment, I continue informing him how other stores allow you to swipe if chip is malfunctioning. Well I guess this upset him, so he says "guess what...your order is voided." And wouldn't sell me the bottle. I just bought a house around the corner so he just lost a devoted customer bc my family and I will drive out of our way before we give this business any of our money again.
Called in to find if they had a bourbon in, it's price, and their hours. Was treated wonderfully by the lady there and she even went to the back to get me another bottle. She made a wonderful recommendation on 2 local beers and was just over all very pleasant to talk with.
One of the better selections for craft beer in Jeffersonville, small store but manages to keep a good variety.
Do they have a lower score than 1 star? The guy, definitely not a gentleman, is very rude. He has been rude every time I have been there. It is my mistake for thinking he, or the store would change. He will lie to your face. He has told me that they get numerous bottles of Pappy, and today he told me that they, in fact, did have the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. I said "Can I buy it", and was told no. I then learned that it had not even been released to any of the stores in the area. Take your business elsewhere, unless you wanted to be treated like dirt and lied to. :). By the way, I have never given a bad review on here, if that tells you anything.
